Pankaj Udas, the legendary ghazal artist of the subcontinent, started his career with just 51 rupees. He has sung more than 700 songs. Yesterday, at the age of 72, this music star breathed his last at Breach Candy Hospital in Mumbai after a long illness.
Kolkata media is reporting that Pankaj Udas left a lot of property for his family before his death. According to media reports, the artist was the owner of property worth more than 25 crore rupees.

He started his journey in the world of music in 1980 with the release of a ghazal album titled ‘Ahaat’. Within a short time, he became a notable name in the Bollywood music world.
